A hackathon is a place where small teams of people come together and create new ideas and put them into action together in a short period of time. They “hack” or in other words combine together multiple different technologies in order to create something new and necessary.

HackCCNY is a brand new hackathon that aims to bring together the diverse community present at the City College of New York in combination with the world outside of it in order to bring different and new perspectives to build a greater tomorrow.

We hope to welcome both people from within the CCNY community and people from outside the community, both beginners and more advanced programmers and hackers to be part of this innovative process in order to build tomorrow’s world one late night coffee at a time.
